Additional Reading Group
In Hilary Term 2016, there will be two additional reading group meetings to discuss the first two chapters of Michael Esfeld and Dirk-André Deckert's book in progress called 'What there is: The fundamental ontology of the natural world'. This section of the book is almost entirely conceptual and sets out the philosophical arguments for a fundamental ontology in terms of relations. It will especially appeal to those working in philosophy of physics and metaphysics. The meetings will be on Thursday 11th February (2.00pm–4.00, MBI Auditorium) and Tuesday 16th February (4.30pm–6.30pm, Fraenkel Room) at Corpus Christi College.
